Sustainable Skincare Ingredients

We carefully select ingredients with quality, origin, and purpose in mind. Our formulations feature ingredients such as raw shea butter, botanical oils, honey, and beeswax, connecting traditional West African skincare knowledge with ingredients and craftsmanship closer to home in Sweden.

Where possible, we prioritise responsible sourcing, traceability, and suppliers whose values align with our approach to quality and sustainability.

Small-Batch Production

Our products are handcrafted in small batches, allowing us to produce more intentionally and maintain close attention to quality. Rather than producing large quantities at once, small-batch production helps us respond to demand, maintain freshness, and reduce unnecessary product waste.

It also allows us to continuously refine our formulations and processes as Shealife grows.

Packaging

We aim to choose packaging that protects our products effectively while reducing unnecessary materials and waste. We consider factors such as recyclability, reusability, product protection and the amount of packaging required.

We are continually exploring ways to improve our packaging choices as better and more responsible alternatives become available.

Our Long-Term Goal

Sustainability is not a destination for Shealife—it is an ongoing commitment to doing better as we grow. Our long-term goal is to continue improving how we source ingredients, formulate, produce, and package our products while remaining transparent about the choices we make.
